Coaching is a professional relationship whereby two people work together toward a vision, strategy, and goals to ensure success in all areas of life. A coach brings a process to the table that uncovers true motivations and creates new options within the client’s life. The coaching process also enables a client to see things from a new perspective.
Once plans are in place your coach will work with you on a weekly basis to remove obstacles to success and to hold you accountable to your plan.
Coaches work with the WHO of a person allowing the person to direct their own life according to what is revealed as opposed to a consultant who will tell you WHAT to do with your life.
Coaching also focus on where you are now – the present – and where you want to be – the future. This differs from therapy which delves into your past.
HOW IT WORKS
You will meet with your coach 2 - 3 times per month for 40 - 60 minutes.
Your coach will call you at the agreed upon time each week.
Your coach may also share with you tools to work with in between calls.
Think of your meetings as business meetings - only you are meeting to strategize, set goals, make plans, and review progress for your life, not work. Meetings to discuss your life must always have priority over meetings for your work.
When you agree to enter into a contact you will be emailed a Coaching Agreement which you may agree to via email. After the contact is agreed your first payment will be processed and your first session will be booked.
Your fee is monthly and due on the 1st of the month in advance of services to be provided. Payment options include cash, check, bank transfers or the following credit cards: MC, VISA, Discover and American Express.
Your coach will call you at the specified time each week.
For long term contracts we do ask for a 1-month notice period if you decide to terminate this relationship.
Your coach has reserved your time for you. If the need arises, please give 24 hours notice to reschedule. Without proper notice, scheduled time missed will be lost. We request you to make your time with your coach a priority.
Confidentiality is critical to the coaching relationship -- coaching sessions are strictly confidential. Any subject discussed and/or items shared, including such things as personal information, future plans, proprietary information, goals, job and company information, will remain confidential.
TYPE OF RELATIONSHIP
A coaching relationship is not, nor will there be any type of, therapy or psychological counseling. If these are needed, then it is your responsibility to seek these services from the relevant professional.
